WHO WE ARE
Owner, Master Trainer
Bonnie started her love for Pilates at SFSU as a dancer in 2000. She was pleasantly surprised how such a strange set of exercises improved her dancing ten-fold. Little did she know that 5 years and 3 knee surgeries later, Pilates would have the biggest impact in her life. She noticed her PT using Pilates equipment and exercises to rehabilitate her knee and continued to use the method to keep strong. She was then hooked, and has never looked back since.
Vanessa's love affair with movement started in early childhood and involves a variety of modalities including various dance styles, Yoga, Tai Qi/Qi Gong, Alexander technique & Franklin Method. Her interest in anatomy, kinesiology and the therapeutic application of movement led her to Pilates.
Vanessa truly enjoys sharing the knowledge she has gained through her extensive work with various movement disciplines and applying this knowledge to help her clients achieve their goals.

Nadya is a Berkeley native who began practicing Ballet at the age of four. Dance quickly became her greatest passion and self expression. This love of movement propelled her to explore a variety of dance and movement styles: from Yoga, to Krav Maga, Tai Chi, and Pilates, ultimately leading her to study dance at Cal State University Long Beach. While Pilates was always a part of the repertoire, it was not until the birth of her son in 2018, that movement and care of the body was no longer just a passion, but a career choice.
Pilates Trainer and Wellness Coach
I consider myself lucky to be in the business of making people healthier, leaner, stronger, more flexible, and happier. There is a powerful athlete in all of us and I believe that it is my job to cultivate that.
The beauty of Pilates is that it has the power to transform people. Pilates can make over your body and change your mindset. I often hear clients say, “I don’t think I have it in me today. It’s been a rough week.” This is when I feel that I am most effective by integrating mind, body, and soul into every session...
Putting together her love of dance, minor in Kinesiology, passion for teaching, wealth of experience, and 20 years of learning first hand how to maintain a working artist’s instrument, she decided to pursue certification through Power Pilates in 2013, under Teacher Trainers Lisamay Scott, Sharmila Mitra, Robert Surenbroak and Krisna Hanks.
